Your Blood & Your Erection

Your Blood & Your Erection
NO improves overall blood circulation

You already know that blood mechanically enables your erection, but did you know that there is a direct and long-term relationship between the quality of your blood and your erection?

Blood is your life juice. It is the “oil”, which transports all the nutrients through your body keeping you healthy and strong. If the oil is in good shape, so is your “engine”.

Blood readings are therefore a great way to track your overall bodily health…. Keeping an eye (ideally regularly, say once every year), will give you an idea how how healthy you really are.

Crucially you may also be able to spot trends and take action early (for example by adjusting your diet) and prevent a full-blown disease from developing.

Remember, knowledge is power – you might discover good or bad readings in your blood you have not suspected before.

Remember: STRONG Health means a STRONG Erection!

blood circulationHere are seven key blood tests you should get done:

1. CBC: complete blood count. This is the baseline numbers for key blood readings such as red (oxygen-carrying) blood cells, white (infection-fighting) blood cells, and platelets (clotting particles).

2. Blood-sugar score: this is key to tracking risk of type-2 diabetes. Also do a glucose-tolerance test (OGTT) if you have any family history of diabetes or heart disease.

3. Fats (Cholesterols): The lipid profile is where you’ll first be able to see cardiovascular abnormalities are most likely appear. Your HDL (good) cholesterol should be between 45 and 50 mg/dl, while your LDL (bad) cholesterol should be below 130 mg/dl. Triglycerides should fall under 150.

4. Inflammation: the so-called CRP score. If your CRP as well as your total cholesterol is high, you’re at an even greater risk of having a heart attack than you would be with either risk factor by itself. Readings will be elevated for smokers.

5. Prostate: get the reading for the Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA), ideally track it over time. In the UK alone, every year 50,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and 10,000 die of it.

6. Thyroid: The thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) reading indicate if you have an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), which  may include personality changes, hair loss, weight gain, and a cloudy memory. An overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) can lead to an increased heart rate, anxiety, sleep problems, and weight loss. Both thyroid conditions can lead to more serious, life-threatening illnesses when left untreated.

7. Aspirin: “Aspirinis a very old and cheap product, is really a wonder drug! Aspirin reduces the stickiness of platelets and makes them less likely to clump together and block a blood vessel. However, Aspirin resistance is found in about 20 percent of patients tested.

Keep an eye on your blood readings, which indicate your general health (see example below) and might ring alarm bells early singalling the onset of disease.

When your blood is healthy, your body is healthy and your erection is strong.

Example Blood Report

my_blood_testHere is my report to give you an example of what it could look like.

When my doc saw the elevated Creatinine count he got worried. He thought that something might be wrong with my kidneys, which is where Creatinine is broken down. He calmed down when I told him that I supplement Creatine to have more power in the gym! 🙂

Other readings that stand out in this report are the high Haemoglobin (HCMC) count, which means my blood is able to transport lots of oxygen. I used to race long distance cross-country at national level when I was young. My HDL (good cholesterol) is also elevated, which is a reflection of my diet.

So what does all this mean?

The message to take away is that your blood readings don’t lie. Like the oil in an engine, the health of your blood readings are a direct reflection of your biological health. There is nowhere to hide, which is why athletes blood and urine get tested for performance enhancers they put inside their bodies.

If anything is wrong with you it will show up here first. And if everything is right, you have piece of mind.
